SUNDAY MEDITATION (Psalm 29)
The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars. Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon. In His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

“I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn to My servant David: ‘Your seed I will establish forever, and build up your throne to all generations.'” Selah!
Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep…
The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer . . . For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You.
Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness You shall establish in the very heavens. . .the heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.
Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works
which You have done; and Your thoughts toward us cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would declare and speak of them,
they are more than can be numbered.
