“The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them.”
O God, You are my God; early will I seek You . . . When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.
Today, at a minimum, recognize that the threat of persecution millions of Christians face is not limited to one or two days a year; it’s a 24/7 reality. Don’t let this day pass without making a commitment to daily pray for the persecuted church. The apostle Paul reminds, “if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it . . .”
God sees all! With His searching and piercing gaze, God scrutinizes the actions of men.
[M]y soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your mercy is great above the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the clouds.
Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, How awesome are Your works!
