“The works of the Lord are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them.”
O God, You are my God; early will I seek You . . . When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.
Today, at a minimum, recognize that the threat of persecution millions of Christians face is not limited to one or two days a year; it’s a 24/7 reality. Don’t let this day pass without making a commitment to daily pray for the persecuted church. The apostle Paul reminds, “if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it . . .”
God sees all! With His searching and piercing gaze, God scrutinizes the actions of men.
[M]y soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your mercy is great above the heavens, and Your truth reaches to the clouds.
Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth! Sing out the honor of His name; make His praise glorious. Say to God, How awesome are Your works!

The one and only God of creation is not hiding from us. Not only does He invite man to enjoy a personal relationship with Him, He has provided all that is necessary to make that possible.
True worship transcends tradition or duty. Worship expressed with heart-felt praise and reverential awe is an appropriate response to God’s wisdom, power and goodness.
Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee?
Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. . .
For the LORD is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth.
The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth, and strips the forests bare; and in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”
