O Death, Where Is Your Sting?
Today’s Text: 1 Corinthians 15:55, 57
RESURRECTION SUNDAY
Dear Friends,
Using only six words in each sentence, the apostle Paul asks two rhetorical questions in regard to Jesus Christ’s resurrection:
“O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?” (1 Cor. 15:55).
How people of faith should respond to that reality is also plainly stated:
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (v. 57).
May your heart be filled with gratitude and joy as we celebrate our Lord’s victory over sin and death!
Many Blessings on this Resurrection Sunday,
