Worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness
Today’s Text: Excerpts from the Psalms & 1 Chronicles
SUNDAY MEDITATION
The following passages help prepare our heart for worship by focusing attention on the holiness of God.
1 CHRONICLES 16:23, 29
Sing to the LORD, all the earth;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
Declare His glory among the nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
Give to the LORD the glory due His name;
Bring an offering, and come before Him.
Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness!
PSALM 29:1-2
Give unto the LORD, O you mighty ones,
Give unto the LORD glory and strength.
Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name;
Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
PSALM 97:10-12
You who love the LORD, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints;
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
Light is sown for the righteous,
And gladness for the upright in heart.
Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous,
And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.
Praise and exalt our awesome and holy God as you worship today!
