Based on God’s past faithfulness, David was confident of the Shepherd’s continued care not only in this mortal life, but in the very presence of the Lord forever!
More often than not, it is during the challenging periods of our life that we draw closer to the Lord seeking His protection. But, how do we respond to God’s blessing?
Does David really believe that God always chooses the right path? We aren’t left to draw our own conclusions.
While elusive in our culture, David advises us that there is only way to have genuine satisfaction, safety and security on the path of life.
Imagine yourself sitting across the table from King David. He’s earnestly discussing his relationship with God. He’s the king of Israel passionately speaking to you from personal experience.
Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth, O seed of Abraham His servant, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones!
