I Know That My Redeemer Lives
Today’s Texts: Excerpts from Job 19; Psalm 16; 1 Corinthians 15; Galatians 2
HOLY WEEK

The Bible is the FOUNDATION for life.

Our hope is in the risen Savior! The living Redeemer has been man’s only hope since the beginning of time!

JOB 19:23-27

“Oh, that my words were written!
Oh, that they were inscribed in a book!
That they were engraved on a rock
With an iron pen and lead, forever!

For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;

And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God,

Whom I shall see for myself,
And my eyes shall behold, and not another.”

PSALM 16:7-11

“I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.
I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will rest in hope.

For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

1 CORINTHIANS 15:20-22

“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.”

GALATIANS 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ;

it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh

I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Messiah came as the promised sacrifice for man’s sin. He rose again according to the Scriptures. He is alive! Even more profound, He gives genuine eternal life to all who put their trust in Him!
